Welcome to Comfort Me Books!

I am the creator of Comfort Me Books and the Comfort Me Bear Mission.

Comfort Me Books is a collection of Recordable Storybooks. Each book features a comforting colorful storybook and a 3-minute re-recordable module allowing the child or loved one to record the story. Your child will be comforted by hearing the familiar voice.

The storybook also contains simple word structure and short sentences allowing young readers to practice their reading. The recording module is unattached allowing the child or loved one to record other books as well. The recording module is fun and interactive with a special function that allows the sun and heart to light up during playback of the story.

A proceed of each product will go towards the Comfort Me Bear Mission. Comfort Me Bear is a Humanitarian Mascot Bear that will bring comfort to children in hospitals,etc. Comfort Me Bear will provide the children with a gift.

My story and how Comfort Me Books was created:

In 2003, months after my son's birth, I realized that as soon as I left my son's presence he would become distraught. I quickly discovered that as long as I continued to talk or read to him he would be comforted by the sound of my voice. That is why I came up with the Comfort Me Book and Recording Module; a product that would allow my son to be comforted in my absence. The recording module also helped when he wanted me to read the story multiple times.

Now my son is 7 and instead of my voice he now records his own. He practices his reading using the recording module to record himself reading books for early readers.

I decided to secure my product in 2004 and wait until both kids were in school. Now, 7 years later, I would like to introduce to you Comfort Me Books and the Comfort Me Bear Mission. I hope this product will bring as much pleasure and comfort to your child as it has to mine. Thank you for supporting the Comfort Me Bear Mission.
